Food

Your stay includes breakfast and afternoon tea every day, and a three-course evening meal with wine, tea and coffee on five nights of the seven.

The generous breakfast includes home-made preserves, freshly baked croissants and pains au chocolat, eggs, bread, yoghurts, a selection of fresh fruit, fruit juices, cereals, porridge, and a choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

When you get back from the slopes, home-made cake or biscuits and a big mug of tea, coffee or hot chocolate will be waiting in front of the log fire. The afternoon tea is freshly baked each day.

The evening meal is three courses, prepared from local, fresh and seasonal ingredients whenever possible, some of them grown in our own garden. Dinner comes with a selection of French wines, and coffee, tea or herbal infusions by the fire afterwards. We are happy to cater for particular diets so please do advise us before your arrival.

On the two nights off, your hosts get a little time to themselves and you get to enjoy the local restaurants. For traditional French cooking you could do no better than the famous Chez Merie, tucked away in the neighbouring village of le Miroir, just four minutes’ walk from La Tillette.
