About us

La Tillette is home to Sarah and Lloyd Rogers who are no strangers to hosting catered ski and snowboard chalet accommodation.

Lloyd and Sarah opened their previous operation in Sainte Foy back in the 90’s. Lloyd has worked as an architect and designed and built La Tillette himself, with Sarah’s help, to provide luxurious, modern living, within a typically Savoyard Farmhouse style property.

They were originally attracted to the Alps by a desire to try something new. They met whilst spending a season in Val d’Isere, and Lloyd passed on his early passion for snowboarding to Sarah. Lloyd became a professional racer, competing internationally and winning numerous British Titles in his career, with Sarah joining him on the tour for a season and winning her own British Title back in 1992. They are both now retired from the professional side of snowboarding and are more often to be found skiing the backcountry at Sainte Foy, their local and favourite resort !

Outside the winter, they are both keen cyclists, whether it be road cycling or mountain biking.
